The Minister of Justice, Juan Carlos Campo, in one of his very first public speeches, made explicit statements in agreement with Xnet’s request to the European Commission and the Permanent Delegation of Spain in Europe that the translation of the European Whistleblower Directive should not deactivate their function in the transposition into Spanish law, stating the need not to use the term “denunciante” to speak of whistleblowers in the transposition of the European Directive.
