(Es) Carta de Xnet al Ministro Álvaro Nadal sobre la neutralidad de la red
SaveTheInternet.eu wants to thank everyone who participated in this outstanding effort to protect net neutrality in Europe and keep the Internet free and open!
We encourage you to support the development and implementation of robust net neutrality rules alongside the deployment of high quality broadband and next-generation networks around the world.
A “specialised service” is a service that is run over the same network as the internet, but which needs to be treated differently – for example to have a guaranteed speed or guaranteed reliability.
Traffic management allows internet providers to manage data traffic on their networks. If the network is temporarily jammed, the available space needs to be used as efficiently as possible. Priority can be given to certain communications while slowing down others.
Zero rating is a commercial practice for which data downloaded from certain applications or services is not counted towards a subscriber’s monthly download limits. At first sight, it looks as if you’d get something for free, but actually your freedom of choice is restricted!

Net Neutrality is the founding principle of the Internet. It guarantees that all data packages are treated equally. This principle guarantees that the Internet will remain non discriminatory, equal for everyone, diverse, innovative and free. Telecom companies want to change that.
