In accordance with the European Regulation and the applicable Personal Data Protection Law, the data provided by the User will be incorporated into an automated file for the purpose of sending information about our activities and opinions (and, on rare occasions, about other matters we consider relevant). Only email addresses are retained; names or other personal data are not stored.
We will retain the data only for as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains valid.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability in the cases and to the extent established by the applicable regulations at any given time. You also have the right to withdraw your consent if it has been given.
If these rights are not respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
If you wish to exercise any of your rights or receive further information about them, please contact us at the following email address: contact[arroba]xnet-x.net.
Requests sent by email must be made from the email address registered by you (in some cases, in order to exercise the aforementioned rights and to provide guarantees of identification of the corresponding applicant, the user may be required to attach a copy of their valid National Identity Document or, where applicable, Foreigner Identification Number).
If you are dissatisfied with the way we handle your personal information, you may contact us at any time to resolve the matter.
Personal data retention period: Clients’ personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the purpose established in this policy. Once they are no longer necessary for this purpose, the data will be blocked for the period during which they may be required for the exercise or defence of administrative or judicial actions, and may only be unblocked and processed again for this reason. After this period has elapsed, the data will be permanently erased.
We undertake to comply with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality with respect to the personal data provided by the user, in accordance with applicable legislation.
We do not process sensitive data or data on a large scale; we do not carry out profiling; and we do not use privacy-invasive technologies such as geolocation.
Personal data will be processed with the appropriate level of protection in accordance with current regulations, and the necessary security measures will be adopted to prevent alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access by third parties.
Our databases are generated and maintained using the technology of the Postorius program. The program is free software and can be openly audited. Our newsletter databases are in PostgreSQL format, with data stored in txt format, and are hosted within the European Union and managed by us.
The company Maadix.net operates on virtual machines that allow us to take system-wide snapshots for backups and to access offline units in the event of failure or intrusion. The VM datastore operates on RAID disks.
Daily backups of files and databases are performed, with cross-copies stored and transferred to another server.
We use GNU/Linux systems with automatic application of security patches and centralised logging of system and security events.
Additionally, we use an intrusion prevention daemon that protects the various http/ssh/sftp/smtp services by blocking IPs with suspicious requests.
All services operate with SSL using Let’s Encrypt certificates. System administrators and users also have access to a VPN service on each VM for encrypted access and browsing from public networks.
In addition to permanently installed virus and malware detection systems, the security of the system, the cloud and computers is updated and reviewed at least once a year.

Site administration
Xnet is an affinity-based platform, founded on mutual trust, without hierarchy and without formal decision-making processes.
Xnet has a broad group of active participants depending on the tasks to be carried out, as well as an extensive network of supporters and followers on social media. Xnet usually consults its decisions with the Network of Networks, constantly incorporating modifications and suggestions.
The different active participants, depending on tasks, assume responsibility for the administration of this website on a rotating basis.
Xnet has promoted and periodically organised the Free Culture Forum (FCForum) event and the oXcars.
Xnet initiated the independent collective project that promoted the Bankia case and brought to light the Black Cards scandal.
For any notification you wish to send to the platform regarding the contents of our websites *xnet-x.net / *fcforum.net or other matters, you may use the following email address: contact[at]xnet-x.net
Xnet is a project supported by the IDCDE.
